About the role

We are seeking a passionate dynamic and experienced allied health professional to join our well-established team as a Rehabilitation Consultant for Actevate Pty Ltd in Sydney, NSW. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals on their path to recovery and rehabilitation. This is a full-time position that offers the flexibility to work from our modern office or to take advantage of our remote work options.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting comprehensive assessments to develop tailored rehabilitation plans for clients.
  2. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver evidence-based rehabilitation services
  3. Providing expert guidance and support to clients throughout their rehabilitation journey
  4. Documenting and reporting on client progress to ensure the effectiveness of rehabilitation programs
  5. Depending on your allied health background, there are opportunities to complete pre-employment health assessments, EAP, manual handling training and mental health training.
  6. Staying up-to-date with industry best practices and continuously improving rehabilitation processes
  7. Contributing to the growth and development of the rehabilitation services offered by Actevate Pty Ltd

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Rehabilitation Counselling or Provisional or Registered Psychology.
  2. Minimum 1 year of experience in a rehabilitation or similar healthcare setting
  3. Strong clinical assessment and case management skills
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders
  5. Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills to develop and implement effective rehabilitation solutions
  6. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
