About the Role

We're looking for passionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our growing team at Iris Life Care.

As a Support Worker, you'll provide day-to-day assistance to people with disabilities, helping them build independence, participate in their communities, and live meaningful lives.

This is a flexible casual role, perfect if you're looking to make a real difference while maintaining work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and daily living support
  • Assist with household tasks and meal preparation
  • Support community participation and social activities
  • Encourage skill development and independence
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality supports
  • Be flexible to assist across various locations and with different participants

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in disability support, aged care, or community services (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, patient, and empathetic approach
  • Comfortable using basic technology (for reporting and participant support)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Availability for flexible shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays

Mandatory Requirements (or willingness to obtain):

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Card
  • First Aid & CPR certification
  • Driver's Licence & Vehicle with Comprehensive Car Insurance (preferred)
