Red Circle Recycling is a growing business in the recycling industry. We operate crushing and screening plants to process material into quality recycled products for the construction market.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced tradesperson with mechanical fitting skills. You'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving fixed crushing plant and Heavy mobile Equipment. The work is varied and includes scheduled servicing, breakdown repairs, and assisting with major shutdowns and rebuilds. You'll be working closely with operators, site managers, and the maintenance team to reduce downtime and lift performance
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on crushing and screening equipment.
- Diagnose and repair breakdowns and mechanical faults.
- Support shutdowns, rebuilds, and component changeouts.
- Keep accurate service and maintenance records.
- Work closely with site manager to minimise downtime.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.
About You
- Relevant trade qualification preferred (fitter, boilermaker, mechanical, or similar).
- Previous experience with crushing plants, quarries, or heavy equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Safety-focused with a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Flexibility to work overtime/weekends when required.
