Who are we looking for?
We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined
Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Avionics)
to join our team across several locations in Australia (Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, and Wagga Wagga). If you're a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you're the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.

Your role
In This Role, Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems;
  • Conducting routine pre–flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment;
  • Maintaining thorough records of actions taken;
  • Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment, and;
  • Testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment.

The essential requirements

  • 3+ years experience on SAAB 340 (or similar type, e.g. turboprop aircraft);
  • Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical or Avionics);
  • Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components.
  • Strong team player;
  • Ability to follow supervisory direction;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Consistent positive and proactive attitude;
  • Passion for safe work practices;
  • Valid work visa;
  • Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); and,
  • Current Australian Driver's licence.
  • International candidates will be considered for sponsorship.

The Wagga role is a 5-day-only position (alternatively 4 days on, 3 days off), with no weekend work and no shifts past 6:00 PM. For Sydney, Brisbane, and Adelaide, the roster follows a 7-day shift pattern of 4 days on and 4 days off.
