We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined
Structures, Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
to join our team in
Wagga Wagga, NSW

Your role
In This Role, Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems;
  • Conducting routine pre–flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment;
  • Maintaining thorough records of actions taken;
  • Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment, and;
  • Testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment.

The essential requirements

  • 3+ years experience on SAAB 340 or Metro 23 or Cessna 441 (or similar type, e.g. turboprop aircraft);
  • Trade Certificate IV (Structures);
  • Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components.
  • Strong team player;
  • Ability to follow supervisory direction;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Consistent positive and proactive attitude;
  • Passion for safe work practices;
  • Valid work visa;
  • Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); and,
  • Current Australian Driver's licence.

The duration will be six to eight weeks, with a possible extension through the end of the year. Shifts will follow either a 2-weeks-on/2-weeks-off or 4-weeks-on/4-weeks-off rotation.
