The Role:

We're seeking a qualified and experienced HV Cable Jointer to join our field team on a FIFO basis. You will be responsible for installing, jointing, terminating, and testing HV cables (up to 132kV) on major infrastructure and renewable projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and install HV cable joints and terminations (XLPE, PILC, etc.)
  • Perform HV cable testing and fault finding
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings and scopes
  • Ensure work complies with safety, quality, and client specifications
  • Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines and milestones

Requirements:

  • Cert III in ESI – Power Systems or equivalent
  • Recognised HV Cable Jointing Certification
  • Minimum 3 years' HV jointing experience (preferably up to 132kV) preferred
  • Construction White Card
  • Current driver's licence
  • Ability to pass full pre-employment medical and D&A testing
  • FIFO and remote work experience highly regarded
