The Role

Due to strong business growth and new products being launched, we're looking for a number of Lending Specialists to join our fast-growing team. We are seeking candidates who may hold different levels of experience. The role is on-site and would be ideal for someone who already has lending experience or has worked in a broker or lending support role and is now ready to take the next step.

You'll be responsible for managing and growing your own customer portfolio, guiding borrowers through the lending process, and helping us deliver exceptional customer outcomes. You'll have the opportunity to sharpen your credit skills, deepen your product knowledge, and work in an environment that rewards initiative and collaboration.

You'll also have the opportunity to mentor less experienced team members, whether that's something you naturally enjoy or part of your longer-term goal to move into leadership. You'll play a key role in helping to build a high-performance culture while developing your own leadership capabilities.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing inbound and outbound customer enquiries, offering expert lending advice
  • Originating residential and commercial loans and seeing them through to settlement
  • Building trusted, long-term customer relationships, mostly via phone and digital channels
  • Managing a pipeline of applications, ensuring timely and accurate progress
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, increase conversions, and grow volumes
  • Contributing to the team culture by mentoring junior staff and sharing best practices

What We're Looking For

We value attitude, initiative, and potential just as much as experience. You might be a lending associate, broker assistant or credit analyst ready to step up, or an experienced lender seeking a more dynamic, supportive environment.

Ideally, you will have:

  • 2+ years' experience in a lending, broker, or loan support role (preferred)
  • A proven sales record or strong drive to achieve results
  • Experience managing customer relationships remotely or over the phone
  • Strong communication, empathy, and rapport-building skills
  • Excellent organisation and time management across multiple applications
  • Exposure to non-standard loans (self-employed, SMSF, bridging or commercial) is a plus
  • Certificate IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking (or willingness to obtain it)
  • MFAA or FBAA membership (advantageous)
  • Attention to detail and sound commercial judgement
