Following a $20 million redevelopment, the Barwon Heads Golf Club's iconic 100-year-old, heritage-listed Clubhouse is reopening this spring with outstanding new facilities, including 19 beautifully refurbished accommodation rooms. We are now seeking housekeepers to join our pre-opening team and help deliver an exceptional member and guest experience in this premium hospitality environment.

About the role

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, you will play an important role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across guest rooms, member areas and Club facilities. This is a hands-on position requiring attention to detail, pride in presentation and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

We have multiple casual positions available (up to 35 hours per week) with a variety of shifts to suit different lifestyles — including early mornings (5:00am–10:00am) and school-hour rosters. There will be possible opportunities for ongoing employment for the right candidates in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean, service and present guest rooms, bathrooms and amenities to the Club's premium standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of common areas, lounges, meeting rooms and dining spaces
  • Change and replenish bed linen, towels and guest supplies
  • Report maintenance issues promptly
  • Follow daily cleaning schedules and safety procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team and liaise with the Front Desk on guest requirements

About You

  • Previous housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience highly regarded, but not essential — training provided
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
  • Reliable, punctual and adaptable
  • Able to undertake repetitive cleaning tasks and manual handling
  • Available to work early mornings and/or during school hours
