System Analyst / Test Analyst – Hybrid BA & QA Role

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled System Analyst / Test Analyst to support the analysis, design, and testing of business systems and processes.

This position offers the best of both worlds — blending Business Analysis with Quality Assurance and Testing, making it ideal for professionals who can bridge business needs and technology solutions.

You'll work across the full lifecycle — from requirements gathering and process analysis through to testing, validation, and delivery — ensuring our systems are fit-for-purpose, high-quality, and aligned to organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities
Business & Systems Analysis

  • Assess current systems and gather business requirements.
  • Define future state solutions and process improvements.
  • Produce documentation such as business requirements, functional specifications, and process maps.
  • Support alignment between business objectives and technical implementation.

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Conduct functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Track and manage defects, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure quality outcomes.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong background in
    business or systems analysis
    and
    software testing
    .
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Experience preparing detailed documentation for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with
    JIRA
    ,
    Confluence
    , or other test management tools.
  • Familiarity with
    Agile
    ,
    Scrum
    , or
    SAFe
    environments.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field.
  • Certifications such as
    ISTQB
    or
    IIBA CBAP/CCBA
    .
  • Exposure to test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is an advantage.
  • Baseline Security Clearance
    (preferred).
