We are looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst to support our Corporate Property product over the next 12months.  The develop outstanding pricing solutions across Commercial Insurance. This would encompass analysis of internal and external data to provide customer insights; working in a dynamic environment across the pricing family; delivering recommendations to varied stakeholders; remove blockages to performance; escalate issues; and look for ways to improve and simplify processes. The role is within Insurance Product and Portfolio which varied range of Long Tail and Short Tail products. The role will work to deliver the Commercial insurance strategy and will execute a program of work focussed on delivering against a dynamic and optimal P&L in the short, medium & long term using hands-on pricing analysis and modelling.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Development pricing monitoring dashboards for commercial classes
  • Monitor key performance metrics for various pricing factors within designated portfolios
  • Work together with internal teams to align data processes and develop a data pipeline for risk modelling work
  • Deliver insights and end-to-end pricing initiatives by working with Pricing, Portfolio, Actuarial, Finance, Claims and Distribution
  • Develop pricing recommendations and proposals designed to closely align pricing strategy to each of the brand's budget and implement price changes timely and accurately within the business/function.
  • Assist the Senior Pricing Advisors, Pricing Managers & Team members to perform pricing implementation including emulation, testing and impact analysis.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 12 months appropriate industry experience in General Insurance with a preference for Pricing, actuarial analyst or Portfolio Management
  • Proven ability to engage in a team to achieve individual, team and divisional goals, preferably a minimum of 12months experience working as an analyst in similar domain
  • Ability to exhibit Intellectual Curiosity, Personal drive, passion and Resilience
  • Automation focussed to improve efficiency
  • Strong knowledge of Product and Pricing of key business drivers
  • Strong knowledge of finance, Budgeting/Forecasting of key business drivers, with the ability to interpret and analyse reports relevant to area of responsibility.
