We're looking for a motivated and personable Retail Representative / Merchandiser to

help grow our brand in the ethnic and independent grocery channel. This role is a unique

mix of hands-on merchandising, store relationship management, and sales support —

perfect for someone looking to grow their career in FMCG with a fast-paced, culturally

rich business.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Service a consistent run of ethnic and independent grocery retailers across your territory
  • Merchandise Village Dairy products — ensuring shelves and fridges are fully stocked clean, and properly priced
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with store owners and managers
  • Support in-store initiatives such as new product launches, promotional activity, and price changes
  • Generate sales leads and identify new customer opportunities to help expand our footprint
  • Provide weekly updates and report back to the Head of Sales
  • Capture and share competitor activity, customer feedback, and execution issues from stores
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify commercial opportunities and improve store coverage

Are You a Fit?

  • You're ambitious, well-presented, and passionate about food, culture, and community engagement

  • You have a current, valid driver's licence and a safe, reliable vehicle (essential) — fuel card support is provided
  • You're physically capable of lifting stock, rotating products, and setting up simple displays
  • You live in or near Dandenong South, VIC and are familiar with local independent retailers
  • You're confident using a smartphone to take photos, submit visit notes, and stay in touch with the sales team
  • You're proactive, organised, and take pride in delivering results and maintaining standards in-store

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in FMCG, merchandising or grocery retail (independent/ethnic channel preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills — especially in culturally diverse settings
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while staying aligned with business goals
  • Fluent in English; speaking Hindi, Punjabi, or other South Asian languages is highly beneficial
  • Current driver's licence and own vehicle (fuel card support provided)
  • Comfortable with basic technology including smartphone reporting and photo documentation
