Silk Hospitality is on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead housekeeping operations at a great hotel in Townsville. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Oversee daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently met.
  • Lead, train, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding service.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
  • Manage departmental budgets, supply inventory, and cost control.
  • Uphold strict health, hygiene, and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Front Office, Maintenance) to ensure seamless guest service.
  • Respond to guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain and enhance standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor and report on housekeeping performance, occupancy needs, and staffing levels.
  • Support onboarding and ongoing training programs for new and existing staff.
  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction at all times.
