General Practitioner – Tamworth & Quirindi, NSW

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, comprehensive primary healthcare including acute, chronic, preventative, and health promotion services
  • Provide culturally safe, evidence-based clinical care in alignment with RACGP standards
  • Conduct outreach and community clinics as required (e.g. aged care, nursing facilities)
  • Collaborate with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimise patient outcomes
  • Ensure timely, accurate documentation and compliance with Medicare billing requirements
  • Supervise registrars and medical students as appropriate
  • Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement activities, and practice accreditation
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of health programs and community engagement initiatives

About you

  • Current AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner
  • Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM (essential)
  • Strong diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills
  • Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to holistic patient care
  • Current Working with Children Check, Driver's Licence, and Professional Indemnity Insurance
  • Covid-19 vaccination in accordance with government requirements
  • Full working rights no sponsorship available
