About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Team Assistant to provide administrative, project and financial reporting support to our engineering teams. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in office administration, financial processes, ideally within a technical, engineering, or consultancy environment.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in a similar role and be confident managing a variety of administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to engineering and management teams.
  • Prepare and format reports, tenders, and technical documents.
  • Manage invoicing, purchase orders, and financial tracking.
  • Maintain document control systems and shared project files.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and office resources.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.

About You

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar administrative role ideally within the Engineering or construction industry.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially excel).
  • Experience with management systems or ERP platforms - SharePoint.
  • Experience with invoicing and financial administration.
  • Experience managing a job costing system.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, reliable, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with engineering terminology and project workflows (desirable).
  • A motivated, driven, and reliable individual who can work well independently and as part of a team.
