Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

As Head of VIP Operations, you'll lead the delivery of exceptional customer service and unforgettable experiences across VIP Gaming Operations. This leadership role brings together strategic vison, operational excellence, and a strong commitment to compliance, while demonstrating SkyCity's values. You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing the day-to day operations of the VIP Gaming rooms, including VIP Table Games and VIP Gaming Machines.
  • Meeting all regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Supporting the VIP Sales and Customer Relations teams in revenue maximisation initiatives.
  • Delivering exceptional, consistent, world-class customer experiences.
  • Ensuring a safe, vibrant gaming destination for customers and team members.
  • Contributing to the overall Auckland Gaming strategy as part of the leadership team.

M****ōu | About You

You're an inspiring & energetic leader who thrives in VIP gaming environments and knows what it takes to deliver exceptional experiences. This role requires deep expertise in casino operations and leadership. You'll bring:

  • At least 5 years' experience customer relations and service in gaming industry or related sectors
  • Expertise in multi-product operations and a strong understanding of VIP customer care culture and shaping customer experience strategies for high-end clientele.
  • In depth knowledge of casino compliance requirements including AML & Host Responsibility
  • Advanced leadership capabilities and a history of leading operational excellence and transformational change.
  • Outstanding relationship-building and communication skills at all levels.
  • Strong performance and resource management expertise.
  • Capacity to meet the operational demands of a 24/7 operation
