Hollcon is seeking a full-time diesel mechanic to join our team in Hemmant. In this role you will be assisting with a range of maintenance, servicing and repair tasks on our fleet of heavy machinery, trucks and equipment.

What is expected:

  1. Assist with the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of diesel engines, transmissions, and other heavy equipment components
  2. Perform routine inspections, servicing, and cleaning of machinery and equipment
  3. Source and order parts, tools, and other materials required for maintenance and repair work
  4. Maintain comprehensive records of all work carried out
  5. Ensure a safe and organised work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures
  6. Provide general assistance as required

What is required:

  1. Relevant trade qualification in the diesel mechanics industry
  2. Minimum of 3+ years' experience in diesel mechanics
  3. Strong practical skills and ability to use a range of hand and power tools
  4. Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  5. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  6. Current HR driver's licence and a reliable means of transportation
