About the role

We are seeking experienced Concreters and Concrete Finishers to join our team at Sutton Concreting in Toowoomba, QLD.

This is a casual role, working approximately 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Open to discussing rates based on experience or other perks that might be important to you.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing and pouring concrete slabs, footings and paths
  2. Finishing and smoothing concrete surfaces
  3. Assisting with the set-up and dismantling of concrete formwork
  4. Monitoring and maintaining concrete quality throughout the process
  5. Adhering to all health and safety regulations on site
  6. Working across a range of sites - Commercial, Residential & Industrial

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2-3 year experience as a Concreter or Concrete Finisher
  2. Strong understanding of concrete mixing, pouring and finishing techniques
  3. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings advantageous
  4. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  5. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
  6. Someone who enjoys sharing their knowledge with team members
  7. Working in Construction White card
  8. Drivers license / Truck license (advantageous) otherwise applicant must have reliable transport to our shed in Glenvale. Travel to and from site is on paid time and all team members head to site in our work vehicles (save yourself the $$ on fuel)
