Concrete Supervisor

About the role

Baseup Group is seeking an experienced Concrete Supervisor to join our team in Toowoomba, QLD. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all concrete-related activities on our construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the concrete crew, including scheduling, task assignments, and performance monitoring
• Ensure all concrete work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and company policies
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to plan and execute concrete work
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the concrete pouring and finishing process
• Provide on-site training and mentorship to the concrete crew to continuously improve their skills and knowledge
• Monitor and maintain quality control measures, including conducting regular inspections and testing
• Prepare detailed reports, document progress, and communicate updates to the management team

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Concrete Supervisor or in a similar construction supervisory role
• Thorough understanding of concrete construction methods, materials, and equipment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges on site
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and coordinate the concrete crew
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and plans
• Proven track record of ensuring high-quality concrete work and meeting project deadlines
• Familiarity with relevant construction safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
