Key Responsibilities include:

Serve as a positive role model to consumers and workers and as a source of information on the lived experience of managing persistent pain.

Provide individualised, one-to-one peer connection, practical assistance and education, drawing on your own lived/living experience of persistent pain, service-use and self-management and your professional experience as a Peer Support Worker (if any).

Work in collaboration with clinical team members to support all facets of care and support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consumers in their journey with the Sunshine Coast Persistent Pain Management Service.

Remuneration value up to $39 062 p.a., comprising salary rates $ $43.16 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO3) (part time position, 30.4 hrs p.f.). Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
