Contract Opportunity: Appian Lead Developer - Sydney | $1000/day inc. Super

We're hiring on behalf of our client, a leading global consultancy, for an experienced Appian Lead Developer to join a high-impact project on a contract basis in Sydney. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a world-class consultancy, delivering enterprise-grade Appian solutions in a collaborative Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of Appian applications
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure solution quality
  • Engage with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes
  • Promote Appian architectural standards, reusable design patterns, and efficient development practices
What We're Looking For
  • Appian Certification is required
  • 5+ years of experience in Appian development
  • Proven experience in solution design, team support, and delivery leadership
  • Strong grasp of design patterns and anti-patterns within Appian
  • Solid experience working within Agile methodologies
Technical Skills
  • Advanced knowledge of the Appian BPM suite, including SAIL, Process Modeler, and Appian Sites
  • Strong understanding of Appian architecture and platform best practices
  • Experience integrating with external systems using REST APIs, Web Services, and other protocols
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Familiarity with Appian RPA and AI features
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Location: Sydney (Hybrid/flexible work options may be considered)

Contract Rate: $1000/day inc. Super
