THE ROLE:

The primary purpose of the Maintenance Administrator is to is to effectively administrate the Qube Maintenance software system and provide administrative support to the Tasmanian maintenance team. This will involve monitoring, reporting & filing compliance documents, schedule & forecast servicing and repairs, capturing all related documentation electronically.

12-month contract potentially leading to further full-time employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders to assess identified asset defects and prioritise corrective works accordingly.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop work scopes and plans for corrective maintenance activities.
  • Manage backlog of maintenance work orders, prioritise and plan work for coming weeks.
  • Liaising with suppliers where needed, process inventory and ordering of parts required.
  • Effective management of contractors and suppliers to ensure execution teams are setup for success with adequate labour and parts supply.
  • Develop and refine preventative maintenance plans to ensure assets are maintained and operate above target availability.
  • Ensure inventory management process supports maintenance tactics.
  • Manage maintenance work forecasts to ensure assets are not over/under maintained and forecasts can be effectively met.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective maintenance planning and scheduling.
  • Work with Maintenance departments and other stakeholders to schedule asset outages in suitable time windows.
  • Facilitate the review and approval of weekly maintenance plans for the maintenance teams.
  • Review performance against scheduled work and schedule compliance metrics, identify and implement strategies to improve towards targets.
  • Co-ordinate the benchmarking of the maintenance activities.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Qubes asset management planning and strategies.
  • Develop detailed forecasts and budgets for future years.
  • Identify and implement operational and continuous improvement opportunities that will provide productivity benefits to Qube.
  • Good computer skills in various software systems
