The Opportunity

This is a permanent part-time weekend role, ideal for someone looking to gain valuable hospital experience while maintaining flexibility during the week.
In this role, you'll work in a supportive and collaborative environment alongside experienced professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. Whether you're a seasoned hospital pharmacist or a community pharmacist eager to transition into the hospital setting, you'll be fully supported with hands-on training to help you succeed.

Working Saturdays (9:00am – 12:00pm) and / or Sundays (8:00am – 12:00pm), this role offers excellent work-life balance and the chance to build your hospital experience in a consistent and rewarding part-time capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role you your responsibilities will include:
- Efficiently and effectively dispensing and distributing medication for patients in the hospital and discharging.
- Preparation and provision of discharge medication summaries.
- Offering medication counselling and education to patients.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide advice on patient care.
- Processing imprest medication orders for use in the hospital
About You

Key Requirements:
- General Pharmacist registration with AHPRA
- Relevant Australian or New Zealand pharmacy experience
- Ability to manage your own workload with good communication skills to effectively liaise with a wide range of health professionals
- Passion for building on your clinical skills and knowledge
