About the role

Western Health is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Dentist to join our multidisciplinary health team at Dame Phyllis Frost Centre (DPFC), a maximum security women's prison. This role is part time, in an ongoing capacity.

The Dentist will provide clinical expertise and skills to ensure best-practice patient centred care. The clinician will have the leading role in ensuring excellence in dental care for patients at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre (DPFC). This role is part of a well supported, innovative multidisciplinary team.

The role involves a broad range of patient based dental services within the scope of publicly funded dental services, including patients with disabilities and complex medical histories, and other more difficult clinical situations.

Western Health also provides the primary healthcare service at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, a women's prison located in Ravenhall.
