Finance Settlements Officer

Location: Geelong Central

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Settlements Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing financial settlements accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Geelong Financial Group has been in operation for 25 years, and continues to be an award winning business with a very strong team of advisers and administration. This role is a great opportunity for an applicant with solid loan process and settlement skills to join a progressive and growing workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and process settlements for loans and other financial agreements.
  • Verify documentation and ensure all conditions are met prior to settlement.
  • Liaise with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to resolve queries promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records and reconcile settlement accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.

About You:

  • Previous experience in finance, banking, or settlements is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 6-12 months experience in finance, banking, or settlements is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Australian work rights are essential for this position.
