Program & Product Management Services & Support- Project Manager-FMS

We are looking for a Project Manager with services associated with excellent FMS/ITAR Management knowledge. It will also require some autonomy, individual initiative and the ability to act independently to achieve outcomes in accordance with the direction provided by the Lead Project Manager and Director HASPO.

Tasks:

  1. Oversight FMS/ITAR Management
  2. Management of scope, budget and scheduling
  3. Lead the Project Team to achieve project outcomes
  4. Management of risk & reporting as required
  5. Responding to ADF Customer queries and undertake supporting tasking
  6. Conduct planning in support of delivery of capability
  7. Conduct IIS Planning in support of delivery of capability
  8. Support logistical rollout body of work and activities
  9. Support configuration management body of work and activities
  10. Attend meetings as required and provide input relating to project
  11. Provide input to Transition of Support Responsibilities of Capability Proposals.

Qualification:

  • Strong working knowledge & experience of FMS/ITAR
  • Related tertiary (Business, Law, Engineering etc.) or project management qualifications (or commensurate professional experience)
  • Experience in a Defence or related technical industry
  • Strong working knowledge of ASDEFCON.
  • Experience in drafting contractual documentation
  • Demonstrated experience in tender evaluation.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance

Candidate Requirements

1.Have an Australian Government security clearance- Essential

2.Relevant qualifications and industry experience- Essential

3.Demonstrated experience working with CASG with experience and ability to project manage, plan and deliver acquisition activities, deliverables and artefacts in the Defence Capability Life Cycle environment - Essential

4.Demonstrated communication and stakeholder management skills and experience - Essential

5.Strong communicator with the ability to work in a dynamic team environment - Desired
