CBRE is seeking a Facilities Manager to join our team on a newly completed premium commercial asset in Brisbane's CBD, including a number of small F&B retailers. This is a people-first role where you'll help create a safe, welcoming and professional environment for tenants, contractors and visitors every day. This new asset will include standard premium grade building features, such as Wellness and gym-yoga rooms, fitness rooms, breakout areas, bike cages, air quality management, to meet the WELL Building requirements, on top of the technology platforms that will support the day-to-day operations.
This role will provide extensive opportunities for you to develop and hone your skills on a technically advanced asset, from initial pre-planning stages through to going online and occupying. You will have the opportunity to 'learn on the job' with ongoing on-site training and coaching from the Senior Facilities Manager, including expanding your knowledge of Hard Services; fire, lifts, electrical, HVAC, hydraulic, Nabers, WELL, as examples.
Your Role
Working alongside an experienced Senior Facilities Manager, you'll focus on the services experience side of building management. From tenant onboarding, contractor coordination and the management of base building services, you'll ensure the building runs smoothly and efficiently while creating a positive, compliant and risk free environment for all who use it.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and Coordinating cleaning, manned security, loading dock, concierge, pest, landscaping and other soft services to ensure a premium standard of service is being consistently delivered.
- Acting as the first point of contact for tenants, responding to enquiries with professionalism and care
- Supporting inductions and onboarding for new tenants and contractors
- Monitoring service quality and reporting on compliance, safety and sustainability initiatives
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders to create a collaborative, people-focused workplace
- Focus on maintaining compliance and a risk-mitigated environment.
- Be a part of the tendering of services processes, assist the Senior FM with the management of the Hard Services installations. I.e. Fire, HVAC, Lifts, electrical, etc.
