About the Role

As a Senior Dietitian at LRH, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centred nutrition services across a range of clinical areas. You will play a pivotal role in clinical leadership, staff supervision, student education, and quality improvement initiatives. This position is vital to the continued growth and excellence of our dietetic services and supports our commitment to delivering safe and effective care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced dietetic care across inpatient and outpatient services
  • Demonstrate clinical expertise in a specialist area aligned with LRH's core services
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic patient outcomes
  • Mentor and support Grade 1 and 2 Dietitians, as well as student placements
  • Contribute to service planning, protocol development and quality improvement
  • Participate in weekend on-call roster and upskill in areas such as paediatrics and eating disorders

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

  • A Bachelor or Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics (Dietitians Australia accredited)
  • Eligibility for membership with Dietitians Australia as an Accredited Practising Dietitian
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in hospital-based clinical dietetics
  • Clinical expertise in a specialist area (e.g. oncology, paediatrics)
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising staff and/or students
  • Proven ability in service development, quality improvement, and strategic planning
