Role Overview:

The
Technical Writer
will research, develop and provide publication-authoring services to the Team in support of the product release schedule within a Defence project.

Technical Writer shall produce and maintain technical documentation artefacts including:

  • Functional Specifications.
  • Design Documentation.
  • Security and Safety Compliance Documents.
  • User manuals, SOPS, BLIs
  • Logistics support and maintenance manuals

The successful candidate will have

  • Minimum NV1
    Security Clearance
  • More than 8 years relevant industry experience OR Practitioner qualifications
  • Qualifications in Program Management and / or Project Management (Agile, PMBOK, PRINCE2)
  • Demonstrated strong Technical Writing Skills
  • Proven experience working in a technical writing position
  • Ability to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
  • Ability to Establish Milestones
