About The Role

Drive Growth. Build Relationships. Represent a Leading Mining Services Company.

Reporting to the General Manager – Rental, you'll be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing client relationships, and identifying market trends to drive sustainable growth.

You'll be a key face of SMS, representing our brand at industry events, and client meetings across the WA mining sector. This role involves regular travel throughout the state and requires someone who enjoys connecting with people and creating solutions that deliver real value to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate and pursue new business opportunities within the mining and rental sectors
  • Develop and deliver high-quality sales proposals, quotes and presentations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients
  • Attend industry networking events, conferences and client meetings to promote SMS
  • Assist in tendering for future scopes of work
  • Maintain an active presence on social media to enhance brand awareness
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project and client delivery

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven success in a senior sales or business development role within the mining industry
  • Strong understanding of mining equipment, technology, and rental operations
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-driven with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
  • Valid C Class Manual Driver's Licence
  • Trade or degree qualification (desirable but not essential)
