The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Director (Geotechnical) to join our Perth team. As our client portfolio grows across the resources, energy and industrial sectors, this position will help support and expand our engineering and design capabilities. This a great opportunity for a talented and passionate Technical Director to be part of a supportive and collaborative team.

Our ground engineering team is a mix of geotechnical and geological specialists who collaboratively plan and execute ground investigations, slope stability assessments, nearshore and marine geotechnics, assessment of tunnels and retaining structures, Tailing Storage Facilities, ground improvement and other specialised services.

Responsibilities

• Taking a strategic approach to technical delivery, focusing on scaling the engineering capability, creating a best-in-class delivery function to support the rapidly growing user base across the organisation
• Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with all colleagues and clients
• Inputting into the development and review of systems, tools, and procedures to ensure engineering projects comply with statutory and regulatory requirements

Here's what you'll need

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Geotechnical)
• 20+ years practical experience
• High level of experience and ability in use of applicable engineering design systems and software
