About the Role

We're seeking an experienced carpenter to join our Brisbane team.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Everyday general duties that relate to your carpentry experience, ordering of materials, liaising with other trades, etc.
  • Scheduling & planning site works.
  • Manage resource hours on site.
  • Monitor and report on progress.
  • Work closely with suppliers and contractors.
  • Ensure and enforce safe work policy and procedures are adhered to.
  • Communicate with customers, client, internal resources including administration staff/or construction team, suppliers, etc as required.

Skills and Experience Requirements

  • Australian working rights
  • Certificate III in Carpentry
  • Current white card or construction induction card
  • Current valid drivers license
  • Minimum of 4 years of industry experience
  • Excellent time management, organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multi-task with a proactive mindset
  • Insurance Building Experience (desirable)

Applicants must be able to work without supervision, as well as in a team oriented and collaborative environment. You will also have excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to build strong relationships with our clients.
