Our mission is to empower learners with practical skills, real-world knowledge, and global opportunities. We are expanding our international reach and seeking a dynamic Marketing and Business Development Officer to support our international student recruitment initiatives.

Position Summary

The Marketing and Business Development Officer will represent The Bright College in promoting our courses, building partnerships with agents and institutions, and guiding prospective students through the admissions process.

Key Responsibilities


• Promote The Bright College's programs to prospective students both onshore and offshore.


• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with local and international education agents, schools, and organisations.


• Coordinate the creation and distribution of marketing and promotional materials.


• Manage digital and social media campaigns in collaboration with external consultants.


• Provide accurate information on courses, entry requirements, admissions, tuition fees, and the Australian study experience.


• Support recruitment targets through strong engagement with education agents.


• Negotiate and manage agency agreements and deliver agent training as required.


• Represent The Bright College at education fairs, events, and seminars.


• Liaise with the admissions team to ensure timely processing of applications.


• Stay up to date with student visa regulations, education policies, and industry trends.


• Prepare regular marketing activity reports and recruitment performance updates.


• Ensure compliance with the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 (Cth). ESOS Act 2000 and National Code 2018 in all recruitment activities.


• Provide business development support to the Executive Management team when required.

Key Selection Criteria


• Proven experience in international student recruitment, marketing, or education consultancy.


• Strong knowledge of the Australian vocational education sector and student visa process.


• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently, set and achieve targets, and manage time effectively.


• Established networks with international education agents and institutions (highly desirable).


• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Education, or a related field (preferred).


• Professionalism, integrity, and cultural sensitivity.
