Job description

We are conveniently located 1-2 minutes walking distance from the Hurstville Station.

We offer a professional office working environment with brand new pianos. We also have a team of professional friendly staff members with good work ethics.

We are currently looking for a long term teacher to join the team.

What you will need:

  • A music degree (piano as the main instrument), currently studying one or diploma AMUS level minimum.
  • To be able to handle a range of students whether they are participating in an AMEB exam or learning just for fun.
  • 1 year of teaching experience minimum in piano tuition and putting students into AMEB or ABRSM exams.
  • The ability to relate well to children, parents and other staff member.
  • A Long term commitment.
  • Work with children's check

Training that's provided:

  • Training in effectively building relationship with students and parents.
  • Teaching techniques.
  • Maximize students' progress
  • Piano pedagogical methods across different ages.
  • AMEB exam preparation
  • Concert preparation

Working Hours:

- 20 hours of teaching per week preferred with a minimum of 10 hours commitment per week.

- Opening hours are Tuesday to Friday 3-8pm, Saturday & Sunday 9am -6:30pm

- We are open throughout t year including school holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Subcontract

Pay: $40.00 per hour

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree (Required)

Experience:

  • Piano teaching: 1 year (Required)
