Piano Teacher

**We are conveniently located 1-2 minutes walking distance from the Hurstville Station.**

**We offer a professional office working environment with brand new pianos. We also have a team of professional friendly staff members with good work ethics.**

**We are currently looking for a long term teacher to join the team.**

**What you will need**:

- **A music degree (piano as the main instrument) or diploma AMUS level minimum.**:

- **To be able to handle a range of students whether they are participating in an AMEB exam or learning just for fun.**:

- **2 years of teaching experience minimum in piano tuition and putting students into AMEB or ABRSM exams.**:

- **The ability to relate well to children, parents and other staff member.**:

- **A Long term commitment.**:

- **Work with children’s check**

**Training that’s provided**:

- **Training in effectively building relationship with students and parents.**:

- **Teaching techniques.**:

- **Maximize students’ progress**:

- **Piano pedagogical methods across different ages.**:

- **AMEB exam preparation**:

- **Concert preparation**

**Working Hours**:

- 10 to 30 hours of teaching per week preferred with a minimum of 10 hours commitment per week.**
**- Opening hours are Tuesday to Friday 3-8pm, Saturday & Sunday 9am -6:30pm**
**- We are open throughout t year including school holidays.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Education**:

- Bachelor Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Piano teaching: 2 years (required)
