The Position

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Physical Education (PE) and Sport Teacher to deliver high quality classes to our students.

This role is a full-time role, commencing in Term 1, 2026.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Enthusiasm and experience in teaching physical education.
• Interpersonal and organisational skills.
• A detailed knowledge and understanding of the curriculum for PE/Sport.
• A professional team approach to teaching.
• Commitment to Before School Sport Academy.
• Understanding how assessment and evaluation promotes learning.
• Ability to adapt to creative learning environments where individuals feel secure and valued while being challenged to define and pursue their own interests.
• Identifying, reflecting and implementing good practice in teaching.
• Communicating openly and effectively with peers, students and parents.

Role Requirements

• Experience in teaching physical education.
• Competency with digital technologies.
• VIT registration is essential.
• An understanding of the national curriculum and different teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills.
