About the Role

As a Security Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of electronic security systems, including intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control. Your role is essential in ensuring the ongoing protection and peace of mind of our residential and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct scheduled maintenance and service checks on alarm, CCTV, and access control systems

Respond to technical service calls and troubleshoot faults with professionalism and urgency

Install, upgrade, and configure security systems tailored to individual client requirements

Provide clear guidance and training to clients on using their systems effectively, maintain detailed and accurate records of work completed and system performance

Collaborate with the broader team to continuously improve service delivery and system design

About You

You are technically proficient, customer-focused, and confident working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. You have a solid foundation in security technology and a drive to deliver the highest standards in workmanship and service.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Security Technician or in a similar technical role

Proven experience working with a variety of alarm, CCTV, and access control systems

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A proactive, reliable, and professional approach to client service

Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in electronics or security systems

Current security license and manual driver's license (or ability to obtain)
