What's the role? 

This position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Provide first level support to the Chief Engineer, including daily diary management and email management.
  • Work in collaboration with other support & operations staff within Consumer Digital Technology, Digital Village & CBB Tech to coordinate key meetings to ensure Digital Village milestones are met.
  • General support to Chief Engineer with planning, time/task management, stakeholder management and other ad-hoc administration.
  • Working with the Westpac App & Platform technology leadership team and other key stakeholders to set up the annual operating rhythm of the team.
  • Facilitate 'approvals' related people hiring, finances, procurement.
  • Assist with vendor contracts, renewals and invoice payments for the team.
  • Coordination of weekly leadership team meetings including minutes and actions.
  • Facilitate travel bookings & approvals coordination for the team.
  • Organisation of team and leadership team events including annual offsites, monthly all-ins, and other social activities.
  • Support and coordinate the recruitment and onboarding process for the team. 

What do I need? 

  • Over 5 years of experience working in an administrative, support role
  • Experience working within a large corporate environment with multi business units
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Teams, Excel, PPT, Word, etc)
  • Experience in managing team activities and events
