We are seeking a skilled and motivated Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to quality workmanship, and a desire to be part of a collaborative team. As a Roofer at ThomCo Roofing, you will be responsible for a variety of roofing tasks, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities


•Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems in accordance with Australian Standards.


•Adhere to all company safety procedures and PPE requirements, including wearing safety glasses, long-sleeve shirts, pants, hats, ear protection, and gloves as required.


•Participate in daily pre-start discussions and weekly Toolbox Talks.


•Assist in the completion of SWMS (Safe Work Method Statement) and JSA (Job Safety Analysis) for each new project.


•Ensure the job site is clean and safe at the end of each day, including securing materials, cleaning the roof, and accounting for all tools.


•Maintain clear and respectful communication with supervisors and team members.

Qualifications & Requirements


•Proven experience as a roofer.
•In-depth knowledge of roofing materials and installation techniques.


•Valid White Card.


•Working at Heights Certification (if applicable).


•Own a comprehensive set of hand tools as per our required tool list (specialized equipment may be provided).


•Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.


•Excellent time management and communication skills.


•Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
