About the Role Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of production and packaging lines. You'll carry out both preventative and reactive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and contribute to ongoing reliability and efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical maintenance, repair, and service on production and packaging equipment
  • Support breakdown response and troubleshooting to minimise downtime
  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment and capital projects
  • Conduct preventative maintenance in line with schedules and GMP standards
  • Maintain accurate records and work collaboratively with production and engineering teams
  • Uphold site safety, hygiene, and food quality standards at all times

About You

  • Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III or equivalent)
  • Experience within food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing environments
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience across conveyors, pumps, pneumatics, and hydraulics
  • A proactive approach to maintenance, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
