ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Project Supervisor, as Operations Technician – Upstream Projects you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of machinery and equipment to support the construction and execution activities of upstream projects.

The role will include:

· Safe and efficient installation, removal, and maintenance of bores and bore pipework.

· Operation of heavy machinery associated with civil construction works, including IT Loader, Grader, Telehandler, Excavator, Franna, and Dogman tasks.

· Conducting daily inspections of bores, pipelines, and roadways, and maintaining accurate records of flow rates and operational activity.

· Troubleshooting technical issues and escalating defects with equipment and machinery.

· Actively promoting safety, participating in toolbox meetings, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and Take-5 assessments.

· Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, process efficiency, and cost control within the upstream projects team.

ABOUT YOU

You are a highly skilled, safety-focused operator with a minimum of 3 years' industry experience operating machinery in remote and challenging conditions. You take pride in delivering projects safely, efficiently, and accurately, and you foster close working relationships with colleagues and contractors.

To be successful you will have:

· Current "HR" Class Western Australian driver's license.

· Obtainment of Construction White Card.

· Obtainment of IT Loader, Grader, Telehandler, Excavator, Franna and Dogman and/or rigging Tickets.

· Poly-welding ticket.
