HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR – Hamilton Island, Reef View Hotel

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor at Reef View Hotel, Hamilton Island's leading 4 star hotel offering lovely spacious rooms with some of the most spectacular views over the Coral Sea. In this role you will utilise your supervisory experience to ensure the exceptionally high standards of the resort are met.

Where you'll make an impact

  • Lead and train a team of Room Attendants
  • Inspect guest rooms and suites, and resort public areas to ensure all are cleaned to our high standard
  • Ensure efficient use of linen and conduct regular stocktakes
  • Liaise with Front Office and Maintenance on status of all rooms and any special guest requirements
  • Assist with the training, leading and rostering of housekeeping teams
  • Assist with cleaning of rooms and public areas when required

What we're looking for

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and the patience to work effectively with team members. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time efficiently are essential in this role.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Drivers Licence essential
  • Hold a valid QLD driver licence
  • Must have minimum 6-12 month experience in a similar role in a 4 star hotel
  • Luxury housekeeping experience highly regarded
  • An excellent eye for detail
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional service and leadership
