Role overview:

Main responsibilities:
  • Oversee all on-site operations for custom home builds
  • Manage construction schedules and coordinate trades to meet deadlines
  • Ensure adherence to all plans, specifications, and client requirements
  • Liasie with customers in a professional manner
  • Lead, motivate, and manage trades and subcontractors on-site including regular site checks, toolbox meetings, and site inductions
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure work is completed to a high standard and rectify defects promptly
  • Keep accurate daily records, logs, and documentation
  • Manage OH&S, and conduct regular risk assessments and site audits recorded through Hazard
  • Represent Buildscope with professionalism, integrity, and a solutions-focused mindset
What you will bring:
  • 5 years' experience supervising residential building sites, ideally within high-end custom builds
  • Residential Trade qualification (e.g. carpentry) highly regarded
  • Knowledge of high-performance homes preferable
  • A current Unrestricted Residential Site Supervisor licence is mandatory
  • A current white card certification and driver's license
  • Solid knowledge of the NCC, local regulations, and construction best practices
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, techniques & materials
  • Excellent communication skills to deal with suppliers, subcontractors, clients, architects, and other stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills for scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Understanding of all OH&S standards, safety protocols, risk assessment
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to quality control
  • Strong leadership and organisational abilities
  • Ability to keeping accurate site records and documentation
  • Team player with good people skills
  • Disciplined and can work with minimal supervision
