About the role

Pull up a seat at the leadership table as our
Senior Manager – Business Services & Tax
.

You'll be the Director's right hand and a go-to for clients. You'll lead with integrity, think like an owner, and help raise the bar for others.

  • Manage a client portfolio and build relationships with business owners of varying sizes and industries

  • Provide advice on complex tax matters like tax planning, structures, small business CGT, estate planning etc.

  • Review team work to ensure top-tier technical quality and accuracy

  • Lead advisory projects including forecasting, board reporting, strategy, and business mentoring

  • Mentor and grow a team

  • Collaborate on business strategy and practice-wide improvements and initiatives

This role suits someone who's confident in the technical, steady under pressure, and energised by coaching others and always looking for ways to make things better... even by 1%.

What we're looking for

Must-haves:

  • CA/CPA qualified

  • 7+ years' experience in Australian public practice

  • 2+ years managing people and/or workflow

  • Confident across complex group tax matters

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and judgement

  • Based in Australia with full working rights

  • Confident, approachable leadership style

  • Passion for mentoring and team development

  • Strategic, big-picture thinker

  • Someone who raises the energy, not just the issues


Salary:

$120K–$160K (negotiable based on experience & goals)
