The Opportunity:

Survey Management Solutions is expanding, and we're looking for a Survey Assistant to join our Adelaide team. This role offers the chance to be part of a collaborative and innovative company, contributing to a variety of dynamic and rewarding projects.

Any given day may see you…

1. Monitoring Setup & Calibration - Assist with installing new monitoring points and complete baseline measurements
2. Monitoring Observations - Assist completing settlement observations throughout the project - Using Digital Level
3. Monitoring Observations - Assist complete traverses and observations for monitoring prisms - Using Total Station
4. Collaboration with Project Team - Work closely with the project team to stay ahead of project requirements
5. Technology & Equipment Management - Assist operate and maintain advanced survey equipment, ensuring all tools and devices are in good working condition and compliant with relevant standards
6. Compliance & Safety - Ensure all work procedures comply with project/state requirements

Here's what we are looking for…

A person with survey experience that is wanting to become part of a new and developing team in emerging markets.

They must:

• Hold relevant qualifications in either Survey, Spatial Science and/or Geometrics.
• Experience with Total Stations, GPS Equipment, Digital Levelling and Survey Computation Software
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Understanding or exposure to Civil Engineering or Construction
• Understanding of survey monitoring procedures
• Sound knowledge in Workplace Health and Safety practices
• Team oriented but also self-motivated
• Committed to delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality outcomes
