Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsperson to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and professional survey drawings using CAD software based on data collected from field survey teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed survey plans, engineering drawings, and as-built documentation using AutoCAD and 12D
  • Interpret field data collected via total stations, GPS, and laser scanning equipment.
  • Collaborate with surveyors and engineers to ensure drawing accuracy and completeness.
  • Preparation of plans for lodgement with LSSA and Plan SA
  • Maintain and organize project files and CAD standards.
  • Update drawings based on client feedback, field notes, or redlines.
  • Assist in quality control of final survey deliverables.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (12d an advantage).
  • Knowledge of land surveying and engineering drawing principles.
  • Ability to interpret field notes, legal descriptions, and site data.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Diploma or degree in Drafting, Geomatics, Survey Technology, or related field.
  • Experience in a land surveying or civil engineering environment.
  • Familiarity with survey databases, GIS, or other mapping software.
