The Position

To provide a leadership role in the development and implementation of effective asset management strategies for the planning and development of AlburyCity's assets.

  • Working 35 hours per week with a fortnightly RDO

Qualifications & experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil) and/or equivalent relevant experience
  • Class C (Standard) Driver's Licence (compulsory to have and maintain)
  • High level experience in asset management of municipal infrastructure with particular emphasis on future planning, modelling and

    program development

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead an effective and efficient team capable of delivering infrastructure to agreed levels and standards.
  • Provide effective staff management, including recruitment, performance management and employee development, employee motivation and foster team harmony.
  • Contribute to the continued development and implementation of Council's asset management strategy and plans.
  • Develop and implement systems to monitor the condition of Council's assets and lead procurement processes to ensure their timely maintenance renewal and replacement.
  • Coordinate the development of maintenance and renewal programs including cost estimates and expenditure forecasts for Council's overall asset base.

Hours

Based on a 35 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines.
