About the Role : As a Manager for Architecture , You'll drive the organisation's technology strategy, uplift architecture capability, and oversee digital roadmaps across core systems, platforms, and enterprise solutions.

You will lead a dynamic team of permanent, contract and partner Solution Architects for the client. In this role you will establish and embed robust methods and processes, ensuring alignment with Enterprise and Domain Architecture standards. You will partner with all business stakeholders, IT teams and vendors to deliver high quality technology solutions that meet and exceed the business needs.

Day in the life of the Manager – Architecture:

  • Ensure the delivery of end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements and align with enterprise and domain architectures.
  • Lead the standardisation of architecture practice and rollout effective methods
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) to develop a strategic portfolio of work
  • Provide people leadership to a team of permanent, contractor and partner architects and manage a flexible resource pool to meet ever changing demand
  • Coach the team to embed good architecture practice and lift its maturity
  • Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture principles, security standards, and IT governance
  • Maintain architecture documentation and support architectural review processes
  • Lead a Team of Architects

To be Successful in the role, you must have experience in:

  • 10+ years in architecture roles, with at least 5 years in senior leadership, managing a team
  • Proven ability to uplift architectural maturity and embed architecture into decision-making.
  • Strong background in enterprise architecture, governance, and change management.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement at executive level.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering solution architectures for complex technology initiatives.
  • Expertise in defining and implementing architecture tools, frameworks, and standards.
