Purpose of Role:
To uphold our commitment to excellence in customer engagement and sales performance, we are seeking a highly motivated Area Manager to join our dynamic team in NSW.
We are also open to this role being located in Rutherford (Hunter Valley) or Western New South Wales, and we encourage applicants from both regions to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
Focus Area:

Provide world class customer and product support in capital products and aftermarket wear solutions with a high level of professionalism.

Develop strategies to penetrate assigned accounts, initiate new business and grow existing business through team and individual selling efforts.

Identify new marketing opportunities and develop strategies to convert these into actions.
-
Perform onsite and workshop-based inspections and providing technical advice to optimize ESCO product performance.

Provide equal attention to established customers as to growing new business.
-
Demonstrate a strong degree of mechanical aptitude.

Prepare high level correspondence and quality tender responses and manage contractual processes as per company policy.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
-
Experience in a similar Sales role
-
Heavy Industry experience in Underground Mining and Surface Mining is highly desirable
-
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
-
Open to candidate who might have or be working in underground mining or surface mining and want to move into sales
-
Travel Requirements: Car to mine sites in local and remote areas (>50% of the month)

Have a motivated and driven sales orientated approach
-
Experience in strategic sales market mapping

Good computer skills (ability to use the Microsoft Suite and other CRM)
