The role

You will support and assist the warehouse team in all aspects of Warehouse operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Safe Forklift operations. (Counterbalance and High Reach)
• Load and unload trucks.
• Pallet movement in/out of storage locations.
• Perform quality checks of inward/outward goods.
• Distribute stock to the respective work area, ensure adequate stock to meet order requirements.
• General cleaning and maintenance of the receiving/dispatch areas and storage locations.
• Accurately record delivery information using a WMS.
• Check and file receipts.
• Use RF Scanner for picking tasks.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist in stock takes.
• Back up support in other areas of the Warehouse, including Packing and Fulfillment operations.

The ideal candidate:

• Valid Forklift Licence with demonstrated experience in operating Forklifts. Experience with High Reach Forklifts is essential. (up to 7.1 metres, 500kg pallet limit)
• Experience with Walker Stacker and Pedestrian Pallet Movers is an advantage.
• Steel Capped Footwear
• Experience using an RF Scanner or willingness to learn.
• At least 2 years experience in a fast-paced Warehouse environment, preferably in FMCG.
• A proven track record of being reliable and punctual.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent numerical skills.
• An understanding on how to perform your duties within a quality assurance environment.
• Effective time management and proactive approach, especially when managing competing priorities.
• Commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work cohesively and unsupervised in a high-performing team environment.
• Availability to commit to a minimum 3 days per week.
• Unlimited work rights.
