Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced
IBM BAW / IBM BPM Developer (including ODM)
to design, develop, and maintain automated workflows and business rules using
IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW)
and
IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM)
. The role involves implementing process automation, rule-based decisioning, and system integrations to streamline business operations and enhance efficiency across enterprise workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain
    business process workflows
    using
    IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW)
    .
  • Develop and manage
    business rules
    leveraging
    IBM ODM
    to enable flexible, reusable decisioning components.
  • Model, configure, and implement
    BPMN-based process flows
    for end-to-end process automation.
  • Integrate workflows with external and internal systems using
    REST
    and
    SOAP
    web services and
    Java connectors
    .
  • Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and technical teams to translate functional requirements into process and rule designs.
  • Deliver
    automated process orchestration
    and
    rule-based decisioning
    to support business-critical workflows.
  • Conduct
    unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization
    for BPM and ODM solutions.
  • Support deployment, version management, and migration of BPM/ODM applications.
  • Create and maintain technical design documents, configuration details, and process artefacts.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in
    IBM BPM / IBM BAW
    development and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of
    IBM ODM
    for authoring, testing, and deploying business rules.
  • Proficiency in
    BPMN modelling
    and process optimization techniques.
  • Hands-on experience in
    REST/SOAP service integration
    ,
    Java/J2EE
    , and
    JavaScript
    .
  • Experience in building and customizing
    Coach Views/UI
    in BPM.
  • Familiarity with
    process orchestration
    ,
    error handling
    , and
    performance tuning
    in IBM BPM.
  • Working experience with
    Git/SVN
    and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IBM Certified Developer –
    Business Automation Workflow
    and/or
    Operational Decision Manager
    .
  • Experience with
    containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
    or
    cloud environments (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud)
    .
  • Exposure to
    business process monitoring tools
    and
    automation governance frameworks
    .
